How to play Over/Under 7

Choose a chip and tap one or more of the three bets. Then roll. Two dice decide every bet on the table. There is nothing to choose after the roll.

The three bets

  • Under 7 wins on a total of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. It pays 1 to 1. A total of 7 loses.
  • Over 7 wins on a total of 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12. It pays 1 to 1. A total of 7 loses.
  • Exactly 7 wins only on 7. It pays 4 to 1: the stake comes back, plus four times the stake.

Each spot is settled on its own. A winning bet is paid even when another bet on the same roll loses.

Chips and limits

Chip values are 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500, and 1,000 play credits. You may put up to 10,000 on Under 7, up to 10,000 on Over 7, and up to 2,500 on Exactly 7.

Undo lifts the last chip. Clear takes every chip back. Rebet repeats the bets from the previous roll. Double matches what is already down, when the limits and your balance allow it.

How often the totals come up

Each die shows 1 through 6 with equal chance, so there are 36 possible rolls. Fifteen of them total under 7, six total 7, and fifteen total over 7.

Tips

  • Under and over each win 15 of 36 rolls, so even money is short of a fair price. Exactly 7 wins 6 of 36 rolls; a price that matched that count would be 5 to 1, and this table pays 4 to 1. The gap is the same on every spot: one credit in six stays with the house.
  • A bet on both Under 7 and Over 7 loses both when the dice total 7.
  • Use Undo before the roll if a chip lands on the wrong spot.

Playing on a phone or tablet

Choose a chip, tap Under 7, Exactly 7, or Over 7, then Roll. The dice, the three bets, and the buttons stay in place from one roll to the next.
