Word Search
Word Search is a quiet letter puzzle. Each theme has its own list, hidden in a square of letters. A word runs in a straight line and may share a letter with another word. The theme page tells you which directions that set uses. You can switch grids without leaving the page, and this browser remembers how far you got.

Rules and help
Pick a theme, then find every word on that puzzle’s list. Nothing is timed, and nothing is stored on a server.
How to play
- Goal. Mark every listed word. Words are straight lines and may share letters.
- Directions. Each theme page says which ways its words run. A line is always straight.
- Drag. Press the first or last letter and drag to the other end. The highlight snaps to the nearest straight direction.
- Tap. Tap the start letter, then the end letter. The same snap applies.
- A miss. If those letters are not a listed word, the line clears. Nothing is deducted.
- Found. A match stays marked on the grid, and that word is crossed off the list.
- The list. Hide word list leaves the found count on screen. That choice applies to every word search and stays in this browser.
- Another puzzle. New puzzle, Previous, and Next stay on the theme page. Each grid keeps its own progress here.
- Print. Printing a theme page shows the grid and the full word list, without the site header.
- Done. The puzzle is complete when every word has been found. The banner appears once.
Tips
- Scan for an uncommon letter, then see which listed word could use it.
- A letter you have already marked can still belong to a second word.
- Hide the list when you want a harder look. The found count stays either way.
Playing on a phone or tablet
Drag from one end of a word to the other. The page does not scroll while your finger is on the grid. You can also tap the first letter and then the last.
